If I were selling an EV (and I have sold a couple so far), I would primarily focus on having an ebay ad and a craigslist ad. Those two are searched by the search engines (i.e. Google). Other ads at other sites can't hurt. If you have not already, I suggest you create an EValbum.com website for your EV. Then you can put all the images you want, and all the detail you think an EV'r would want to know. I suggest this because the initial ebay and craiglist ads should not be bogged down with too much info. They should just have the exciting parts, and then reference to the EValbum site for more details. Be sure to include the basics in terse mode: -How fast 85 mph, I usually cruise at 65mph -How far City/Hwy (stop n go / Hwy speed a constant 65mph) -How long to charge at Level-2. I would state first you gain xx number of miles for each hour charging, and then state a total recharge time at Level-2. Noobs will begin to understand that an opportunity charge can gain them some miles to be on their way again. Since a full-full charge is slowed down because the last 20% is at a much slower rate, I leave the customer to ask about that rather than trying to explain on the initial ebay and craigslist ads. Always include that if they have any questions to please ask. Later you can update your EValbum site to include them like a Q&A session. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mitsubishi_i-MiEV says if yours is the 100km/~60mile range 16kW pack and your EV has the standard 3.3kW on-board charger (16 / 3.3 = ~4.85 hours, and 60 miles / ~4.85 hours = ) ~12.5 miles regained per hour of level-2 charging, with a total recharge time of 7 hours. I would suggest a minimum of three images: Front-driver's side, Rear-passenger's side, and an interior shot like you are in the driver's seat. Take a look at a site I made years ago for selling an Escort Wagon http://brucedp.150m.com/escort/ Lastly always spell check your ad. A typo can lose you a customer's attention / they may look elsewhere. It might take several months to sell your EV, so do not be in a big hurry to discount the price. If you are in a hurry you may want to use an auto broker. I would look at what brokers are selling EVs and pih on ebay to find one.
